Transfer Students and Transfer Courses

Transfer credit may be granted to the course successfully completed by a student at other universities, of higher learning if the course content is equivalent to that offered by IT-PG program at the University of Benghazi.

A preliminary evaluation of the transfer credits is made in the Office of the Higher Studies in FIT, based on the students ‘transcripts and the course contents and the recommendations are sent to the appropriate departments. Final determination for acceptance of transfer credits is made at the department. The Transfer Credit Evaluation Form is filled by the appropriate department. The Transfer form is signed by the transfer/evaluator advisor in the department, in consultation with the head of the department chair, then determines which transfer courses will be accepted towards meeting the program requirement.

The accepted courses should not exceed 50% of the offered courses by the program, the Master thesis is not subject to the transfer.
