About the section:

The Department of Computer Systems Design is one of the main departments of the Faculty of Information Technology since its establishment in 2006. This section presents how to link software concepts with hardware in computer systems. And focus on this through digital circuits and link them programmatically during the study period in the department. The materials presented in this section allow the student to merge and harmonize with the harmony of materials gradually to link the physical and moral entity of computers, gradually moving to some concepts that focus on digital control of some circuits and simulate them programmatically through their graduation projects.

The student in this department understands and learns how it is possible to link and deal in a practical way between (Software) and (Software). This feature makes students in this department well qualified to translate practical ideas and design their departments and merge them with each other to obtain a complete control system for Computer path.

 

Vision:

• The department should be a learning environment and its application for students enrolled in this department.
• To create specialized research groups from the faculty members of the department and the qualifications of those groups join these groups to serve future projects for development and creativity.
• The graduate program of the department is established.
• The link between the students in the department and the projects that start from the research groups.
• Coordination with the other departments in the college to take advantage of these projects and establish workshops that may help students to understand the desired goals and the basic materials in this section.
• Providing a scientific environment for students of the department and college by providing modern educational curricula, scientific references and books related to scientific and practical specialization.
• Work on attracting some grants or budgets from specialized companies to help develop scientific research in the department.
• Create specialized training courses, and that the graduate program is successfully available.
• Cultural exchange between the department and its corresponding departments in domestic or international universities.
• Coordination with the other departments in the college to issue a periodical specialized in information technology.
